Programming

• AI Safety Fundamentals Fellowship. 8-week survey course on the field AI safety. Weekly readings and discussion led by a member of the exec team. No pre-requisites and open to all NYU students. Participants are expected to attend all sessions. Applications will be released in September.
• AI Safety Speaker Series. A series of talks on technical research (alignment, control, evals, robustness, etc.) and governance (policy, regulation, coordination, etc.) Invited speakers present their current research, followed by open discussion. 30-45 minute sessions. Open to all members of the NYU community, no registration required. Email exec@nyuaisafety.org with suggestions for speakers.
• Social/Networking Events. Meet other members of the NYU community working in the field.
